Getting Started

Gtransact is a GCash transaction manager for Filipino store owners. It automatically records incoming GCash payments and lets you log cash-in and cash-out transactions with photos as proof.

No separate account is needed. Sign in with your existing Google account. Your subscription is linked to your Google account through Google Play.

Yes. Gtransact is built for stores that receive GCash payments. You need at least one GCash account to record transactions.

Android 8.0 Oreo or higher. Most phones from 2018 onwards are compatible.

GCash Reader Phones

Your GCash Main Phone is the Android phone where you run the Gtransact dashboard. It can also automatically read incoming GCash notifications when Notification Access is enabled. Every plan includes 1 GCash Main Phone.

A GCash Reader Phone is an extra Android phone in your store dedicated to receiving GCash payments. It runs Gtransact in the background and automatically forwards incoming GCash payment notifications to your dashboard.

Monthly: 2 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + 1 extra GCash Reader Phone.
6 Months: 4 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + up to 3 GCash Reader Phones.
Yearly: 10 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + up to 9 GCash Reader Phones.

Note: iPhone users who connect manually count as 1 GCash account, which reduces the available Reader Phone slots.

1. Install Gtransact on the GCash Reader Phone.
2. Choose reader phone on the startup screen.
3. In the dashboard, go to GCash Phones and generate or scan the QR code.
4. Enter the phone name, GCash account name, and GCash number.
5. Done. The phone is connected and can forward notifications automatically.

Install Gtransact on the new phone, choose reader phone, and scan the QR code again. Your transaction history is safe because it is stored in your Google Sheet, not only on the phone.

Disconnect the reader phone, then scan the QR code again and enter the new phone name and GCash details.

1. Enable Notification Access: Android Settings -> Apps -> Special App Access -> Notification Access -> Gtransact.
2. Make sure the GCash app is installed on the same phone.
3. Whitelist Gtransact in battery settings on phones with aggressive battery optimization.
4. For reader phones, make sure the phone is connected and active.

Transactions

Go to Cash In, fill in the amount, reference number, customer name, and optionally attach a photo. Then tap save.

Go to Cash Out, fill in the details, check for duplicate if needed, attach proof, and save.

In your own Google Drive. Gtransact creates store records in your Google Drive. Only the Google account with access to those records can open them.

Gtransact keeps the app fast by focusing on recent records. If you need older records, open your Google Sheet directly in Google Drive before removing or archiving old data.

You can edit or delete transactions directly in your Google Sheet. Changes reflect in the app on the next load or sync.

Photos are saved in your Google Drive store folder and connected to the transaction reference number.

GCash Wallet Balance

It shows the current balance of each GCash account registered in your store, so you can track balances without opening the GCash app.

Balance = Initial Balance + Cash Out total - Cash In total.

Cash Out means a customer sent money to your GCash, so the balance goes up. Cash In means you sent money to a customer, so the balance goes down.

Open GCash Wallet, choose the account, and enter the current amount shown in your GCash app. This becomes your starting balance.

The app balance is computed from transactions recorded inside Gtransact. Transfers made directly in GCash outside the app are not included. To resync, set the current GCash balance again.

Yes. Each registered GCash account has its own balance card. Monthly supports 2 accounts, 6 Months supports 4 accounts, and Yearly supports 10 accounts.

The initial balance and transaction history are stored in your Google Drive records, not on Gtransact servers.

Cash Out adds to the selected GCash account balance. Cash In deducts from the selected GCash account balance.

GCash Notifications

It shows incoming GCash payment notifications captured by your GCash Main Phone and connected GCash Reader Phones. Each notification shows payment details and whether it has been claimed.

A notification is unclaimed when a GCash payment has been received but no matching transaction record has been saved yet.

Unclaimed opens the Cash Out form with payment details. Claimed means the notification has already been linked to a saved transaction record.

Data & Privacy

No. Your transactions, notifications, and photos are stored in your own Google Drive. Only subscription status and referral earnings are stored on Gtransact servers.

Your data is safe in Google Drive. Reinstall the app, sign in with the same Google account, and your records can be restored.

Your Google Sheet and Drive folder remain intact. You cannot record new transactions until you resubscribe, but your history remains yours.

Yes. Your data is in Google Drive and backed up by Google. You can also export your Google Sheet as CSV or PDF.

Referral & Payouts

Share your referral code. When someone subscribes for the first time using your code, you earn 3% commission credited to your referral wallet.

Once your wallet balance reaches ₱200 or more. You can only withdraw the full balance, not partial amounts.

Payouts are processed manually. Allow 1 to 3 business days after submitting a request.

Common reasons include incorrect GCash name or number, inactive GCash account, or a name that does not match the registered GCash account.

Subscription

Monthly (₱59/mo): 2 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + 1 extra GCash Reader Phone.
6 Months (₱249): 4 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + up to 3 GCash Reader Phones.
Yearly (₱399/yr): 10 GCash accounts, 1 GCash Main Phone + up to 9 GCash Reader Phones.

Your GCash Main Phone can also read notifications automatically when Notification Access is enabled.

Open Google Play -> profile icon -> Payments & Subscriptions -> Subscriptions -> Gtransact -> Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the paid period.

The app will show subscription required. Your Google Drive records are untouched. Resubscribe anytime to regain access.

Yes. Subscribe to the Yearly plan through Google Play. Google Play handles the change and activates the new plan.
